It’s been a few weeks since we have been able to get back on to the finishing touches of the Z4, but this is a shop build so it takes the back seat on our day to day business, but perfection takes time, so we are happy to spare what we can when we can which is what is making it such an enjoyable build and with the weather changing it’s not like the car will be out and about any time soon as we have now locked it away for the Winter months.

Rear Wing fixings and quick release pins

These week has seen us find and locate a brand new front bumper grill which we are thrilled at so that is now on route to us, its also seen us mock up the rear wing which has been a challenge to get it mounted so the boot can still be used, as the race ring is chassis boot floor mounted which is what we didn’t want to do on our own build.

Rear wing Assembly Rear Bumper Grills

The rear wing as we have previously discussed is the rear deal Gen 2 Z4 GT3 which we can now produce for any further builds, its mounted using the BMW Z4 GT3 race hardware with the quick release pins so to put on and take off is pretty easy, which is why we wanted this set up so badly.

We get customers asking us why our conversion is more expensive than the other companies that also offer this conversion and our answer is very simple, attention to detail, we also offer parts that our competition doesn’t, we are the only company to offer finish bumper grills front and rear with stainless hardware, dual blade rear wing with quick release pins with our conversion for the track or the street, plus the fact we have actually built a street car, so we are not just advertising the parts on a webpage without a clue how to fit them.

Over the winter months we will be releasing more images of the progress along with some video footage so you get to finally hear this beauty on start up.

Our magnesium forged wheel designs are growing at a very fast rate, as demand intensifies for the super lightweight forged material, manufactured and available for road or track applications.

So why are magnesium wheels in such demand, well for a couple of stand out reasons, the strength of the material being one as well as the weight of the product, this along with the reduced unsprung weight is also a huge benefit, with so many more advantages.

They are good at dissipating the energy of vibrations, magnesium wheels improve acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle, as the mass of the car and moment of inertia of the wheels is also reduced, tyre and suspension component wear is also drastically reduced, along with braking distances, the benefits of magnesium are endless, with the only negative side being the slightly higher price over a forged aluminium alternative.

Litespeed racing RS5 Forged Magnesium Monoblock wheel design

The Litespeed RS5 wheel above is the latest magnesium wheel design to be launched for road or track applications, shown with here in its 1 Piece Monoblock centre lock configuration for the Amazing Porsche 991.2 GT3-RS, with its 9.5x20 front and 12.5x21 rear set-up, machined perfectly to house the original specially produced Michelin Sports Cup 2 tyres.

The RS5 will also be available as a 3 piece forged wheel, magnesium centre with forged rim halves or as a 2 piece hybrid magnesium centre and carbon fibre barrel.

all configurations will be available in sizes 18" 19" 20" 21" & 22" sizes with a huge selection of widths, applications and finishes. Get in touch with us for further details on our Magnesium wheel range

Back in November we showcased new forged magnesium wheel design from GT3RR, which is a little homage to the OZ F1 wheel design and they have been making little detail changes over the last few weeks to make it exactly how they want the final design to look, and we are happy to report the wheel is ready to machine and to say we are excited is an understatement.

Our BMW Z4 GT3 V8 will be one car that this wheel design will be fitted to, 11x19 and 13x19 combo with the Matt black centre and Gloss black barrels, we are very much looking forward to see this wheel on our finished Z4 GT3. Another couple of builds we have going on that will also be fitted with F1R will be a fresh UK Speedwells Supra build in White and a Nissan GTR GT3 build that’s happening in Texas, both wheel sets ups are going to really enhance the look of this design, with huge lips and maximum concave, which is going to look incredible.

GT3RR forged magnesium F1-R, also available in forged aluminum

The sizes for this design are the usual 3 piece wheel sizes, 18” 19” 20” 21” 22” and 24” will also be added to the size list if required, all widths, colours and applications will be available, including centre lock and bespoke builds, building something crazy and would like this wheel design, lets discuss your requirements in detail.

The design is available in both forged magnesium and forged aluminium, for the people looking for the ultimate lightweight wheel the magnesium forged wheel will not disappoint, it’s really is incredibly light weight and can be used on the track or the street.

We are happy to be supporting such a high quality brand and product, get in touch with us for more details on this wonderful design.
