We are always on the lookout for high quality parts or products, not just to sell but to fit to our own demo vehicles, so finding and securing another great product always a good feeling.

When our good friend Iby was putting his 997 Turbo-R together, it was apparent when the kit was in mock up stage and the wheels were on that the suspension side of the conversion needed a little bit of tinkering, as the stock caster control arms, drop links & tie rods would just not work with this conversion, through our contacts we managed to source the genuine GT3R / RSR motorsport race parts to set up the suspension and wheels to perfection.

The problem here is, not only are these parts rare but they are also extremely expensive especially now for the 997 chassis, but we now have a great solution moving forward with our GT3R conversions for the Porsche 997 & 991 chassis and our R aero upgrade, enter Elephant Racing.

This company offer every adjustable suspension part for most Porsche models, so this makes our conversion life so much easier, the parts are available for stock oem body or our RSR / GT3R wide body aero conversions, so if you have a Porsche and fancy the ultimate adjustable suspension components get in touch for further details, this set up added to our JRZ Coilover suspension and magnesium wheels are a pretty mouth watering thought.

Over the Christmas period the boys over at Speedwells have put in an extraordinary shift, whilst most people were off enjoying the rest over the festive period, Iby the owner of speedwell refinishers was in graft mode, and in that short space of time has almost completed the Porsche 997 “R” wide body make over.

What it would take most people a good few weeks to put together has taken Iby two, you might be thinking that in that short space of time the quality wouldn't be as good and would suffer, but you would be wrong, the build quality and attention to detail is the same usual mind blowing quality we personally have come to expect from Iby at Speedwells, like the OEM Turbo site air vents that have been grafted into the new super wide carbon quarter panel, modifying the front fender air vent for the all new alloy fuel cap, its details like this that make this his finest work to date.

The paint skills have been taken care of by Taj at Perfections Midlands Limited and we can tell you Basalt black has never looked so good, he’s done a pretty amazing job painting all the carbon fibre GT3R panels, as well as giving the 997 Turbo’s other panels a freshen up, the guys got skills.

There is still lots of little details to finish, like the rear bumper paint and install as its needed a little modification, along with the fitting of the front and rear bumper grills, upgrades to the front and rear lights as well as a fresh set of indicator driving lights to be installed, and also the 3 piece forged wheels have yet to arrive and be wrapped in the super wide Michelin rubber.

knowing Iby as we do, this car will evolve, as he will always be fettling around with it, because that’s how you perfect a build.

Another great addition to our Porsche line up is the “R” carbon programme for the 991 chassis, its been a while coming but we are pleased to announce its now available, as per the 997 model, all of the same parts apply and we will have a basic package with lots of additional optional extras.

Basic kit will consist of: Front bumper, front floor, front splitter, front fenders, side rockers, rear quarter panels, rear bumper, rear diffuser, rear wing assembly rear engine cover and front vented bonnet.

We also have a huge range of forged wheels available in a range of sizes, 11” fronts and 13” rear, with our all new super lightweight Forged Magnesium also available for this conversion, email the team for details on this upgrade or any of any aero conversions.

We have updated our Porsche aero parts, with the introduction of the wide body GT3 Cup kit for the 991 chassis, and the good news is it's available to order now, for all 991 models.

Available in the aero kit is a complete new front bumper, with grill set, with a separate complete under floor front splitter arrangement, front fender extensions, rear quarter panel extensions, complete rear bumper set up with grill set, rear diffuser, rear engine cover, rear wing with supports, completes the overall look, but as always we have a list of optional extras, including some super sexy light weight carbon fibre doors, along with many other carbon goodies to complete the look.

As with all of the aero conversions at VAD, you get other products that complement the finished article, so we have the very latest coilover suspension for the Porsche 991 chassis from QRS, along with the exhaust system from Fabspeed, for further enhancement we have our range of forged wheels in either 1, 2 or 3 piece configurations, in various sizes, widths, and finishes, how good would this conversion look on a set of 11x21 & 13x21 front and rear respectively, all you have to do is choose a design & colour.

Email the team for more details on the range of aero parts, forged wheel, and suspension kits, long with exhaust products, for the latest Porsche 991 model, we offer a full fitting service, or can offer the parts as a supply only.
